RPI Racing Team:
RPI is a member of the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association, and we race against other college teams
primarily based along the east coast. We compete in the fall and spring at weekend regattas as far away as Virginia,
although the majority of regattas we attend are within a 4 hour drive. Less formal regattas at Saratoga Lake
Sailing Club are held on Sundays in the fall for those who aren't able to sail for the whole weekend. Midweek practices
are held at Saratoga Lake on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons.
We are always interested in getting more racers out on the water. If you are interested in racing or have any questions,
please feel free to contact Charlie DiPrima. Current students who are interested are welcome to attend our
meetings, which are usually held on Wednesday nights at 9pm in Union 2124. Prospective students should also feel free
to contact Charlie with any questions pertaining to college sailing or RPI in general.
