The Rensselaer Sailing Club exists to promote recreational, instructional, and competitive sailing and sailboarding. The club owns seven 420's and five Force 5's for use by its members. We sail on well sized and scenic Saratoga Lake, located 30 minutes north of RPI. Instructional sailing is availiable through experienced members. Intercollegiate sailing is done through the Middle Atlantic Intecollegiate Sailing Association with competitions in New York, New England, and along the Atlantic Coast. Regattas use such boats as the 420, Laser, and FJ. We have a race in New York City called the Corinthians. All abilities are welcome.
